Your Guide To GOAL SETTING

Your Guide To GOAL SETTING
Setting goals helps create new habits and provides direction and a clear focus on what is important to you.
These GOAL SETTING tips will help you in achieving your goals (in fitness or life!)

Put pen to paper and write out your goals! Write them in your journal and look over them each night or stick them on the refrigerator or near your computer monitor! Find a location that you see daily to remind yourself what you are working towards.

It’s great to know what you want! But know you need a plan of how you are going to achieve this. Make an action plan or a list on how you are going to achieve your goal.
If your goal was to hit your daily step count you could start by creating a morning walking club with your friends.

Don’t keep your goals to yourself - share them with those who you know will support you! Not only will this hold you slightly more accountable, your support system can help cheer you on when you feel discouraged and join you in celebrating your successes.

Don’t let small accomplishments go unnoticed. Incorporate rewards or mini milestones for each small step you conquer towards your goal. These rewards serve as reminders that you are working towards something worthwhile and continuing to make progress.

Your goals should change as you do. As you achieve your goals, continue to set more challenging targets. Continue to push yourself enough to keep you motivated.
Don’t forget to take time to reflect and look back at where you started. Don’t get too caught up in trying to hit that next milestone you forget how far you have already come.
